McKay is a fully quoted company with REIT status. It specialises in the office and industrial sectors of the South East of England, including central London.

As a developer investor, McKay is particularly interested in acquiring:

  • new schemes for its development and refurbishment programme that can be implemented over the next three to ten years, and
  • under-managed properties with rental growth potential.

Funds Available: Up to £30m from existing facilities with 6 years to maturity.
Sectors: Offices / Industrial / Mixed.
Locations: Established centres or good secondary locations with growth potential in central London and South East England.

Corporate

As a REIT, McKay pays minimal CGT. It can therefore acquire properties held in a corporate structure at a price that discounts inherent CGT. Vendors should therefore benefit from this tax efficient status.
