                             Retirement of Director


At the conclusion of the Company's AGM, held at 12.00 today, Iain McKay retired
from the board after thirty-eight years as a non-executive director, during
which he was Chairman between 1986 to 2003.

Eric Lloyd, Chairman, extended a vote of thanks to Iain whose commitment and
support over the years had played a significant part in the successful growth of
the company and welcomed the keen interest in the Group that Iain will maintain
as a major shareholder.
